We all know Jay Leno loves to spend time around cars.

But did you know Leno also spends substantial time entertaining U.S. Military personnel and hanging out with troops? Leno likes to visit soldiers stationed both at home and overseas, performing stand-up comedy–and yes, talking cars.

Recently, the former Tonight Show host combined his two passions for a segment on NBC’s Today Show. Leno spent time with Cpl. Ethan Laberge, who was wounded by a suicide bomber while serving in Afghanistan. Laberge shared his story with Leno, talked cars, and even took a test drive in a Challenger Hellcat.

Leno then surprised Laberge by giving him the keys to the car. Watch it all unfold in the video below:
