Today’s brand of drag racing not really your thing?

You’re not alone. For instance, there’s an entire group out there dedicated to 1960s-style Gasser racing. Loud. Supercharged. Straight-axle. And always heads-up racing. The Nostalgia AA/Gassers is a club dedicated to the preservation of 1960s era correct AA/Gassers–with some updates made to meet sanctioning bodies’ current safety standards, of course.

The club competes heads-up style (no index) at events across the eastern half of the United States from April through October. It’s all about the total experience–from the classic feel of the competition to the sounds of supercharged horsepower. No cookie-cutter cars here. Click the video below and take a trip back to the golden age of drag racing.
