Fast and Furious star Paul Walker died today in a car crash, according to reports.

Walker, 40, was best known for his role as Brian O’Conner in the Fast and Furious franchise. He was cast in the seventh installment of the franchise, scheduled to be released July 2014, according to IMDb.

TMZ initially broke the story, which was quickly deemed to be a hoax by a website that, now, appears to be a hoax itself. Word quickly spread among Social Media channels as news establishments searched for sources.
