A couple months ago, we told you about the Lambrecht Chevrolet auction.
As we told you in our original post, Ray Lambrecht, owner of the Lambrecht Chevrolet dealership in Pierce, NE, held on to hundreds of trade-in vehicles and new rides he was unable to sell. Lambrecht owned the dealership from 1946 to 1996, so his collection grew to include some pretty cool vintage vehicles dating back to the heyday of hot rodding. When the Lambrecht family announced these vehicles were going up for auction, Pierce, NE suddenly became the automotive nut’s version of Field of Dreams.
Word of the auction spread fast–it even garnered a special program on History Channel–and some pretty serious collectors made the journey to Nebraska.
