This Sunday (June 16) is Father’s Day, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t give a little shout out to one of the founding fathers of the American automobile: Henry Ford. On June 16, 1903, Ford and a group prospective stockholders met in Detroit, MI to create a new corporation called Ford Motor Company.

Whether you’re a “Ford guy” or not, there’s no denying the company’s impact on American culture, let alone automobile manufacturing. Ford’s Model T made automotive transportation affordable for most everyone, and his revolutionary assembly line changed the way we manufacture products. Plus, Ford Motor Company has produced some game-changing cars and trucks, too!

Today—two days early—we say “Happy 110th Birthday, Ford” with a gallery of some beautiful Blue Ovals.
