super-alero-800x300

By our count, Oldsmobile made around 700,000 Aleros.

But there will only be one SUPERBalero!

OnAllCylinders’ first-ever project build, the SUPERBalero was born from a recent post about the top vehicle brands our readers would like to resurrect. You rightly included Plymouth and Oldsmobile on the list, and the idea was hatched: a project vehicle that brought together distinctive elements from both.

A SUPERBalero.

Our project will take one of Oldsmobile’s best-ever rides (perhaps next to the 4-4-2, Cutlass, and a few others), the Alero, and add just the right amount of styling cues from Plymouth‘s famous Superbird. Highlights include:

Engine

3.5L DOHC V6
Twin Turbochargers
NOS EFI Nitrous System
NOS Nitrous Controller
Airaid Cold Air Intake
COMP Cams Xtreme Energy Camshafts
Custom Patriot Exhaust Sidepipes

Suspension

You can look for the OnAllCylinders SUPERBalero on the Goodguys tour, Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series, and maybe even at a dragstrip near you—but you won’t find it. Happy April Fools Day!
